On 6-7 October, 25.000 people attended the 25. EuroBirdwatch, the biggest European birdwaching event. 41 national partners of BirdLife International across Europe and Central Asia invited people to more than 956 different events to observe the fascinating bird migration and see more than 5,2 Million birds on their way southwards to their wintering places.

Together with the beginning of the autumn migration, it is time to summarize results of the sixth Spring Alive season in Uzbekistan. Despite the fact that in 2018 the international program Spring Alive lost its main donor and stopped allocating grants to participating organizations, our Society held the next Spring Alive season in Uzbekistan! In spring and summer 2018, a total of about 1,170 people, including more than 400 schoolchildren took part in Spring Alive events in Uzbekistan.

On October 6, Saturday, the world environmental community will celebrate EuroBirdwatch - the largest event of the BirdLife Partnership with great public awareness. This is the 25th anniversary of this big event of Birdlife Partners. The focus is in generally on migratory birds and their habitats and especially for this year the 25th Anniversary. Conservation Asia 2018, the largest international conference hosted by the American University of Central Asia and the Society for Conservation Biology - Asia Section on August 6-10 in Bishkek joined over 500 specialists in nature conservation.
